This past week I was out in VA for my cousin's wedding and ended up spending a few extra days out there with my cousins! My cousin Lauren, her sweet baby girl McKenna, and my Dad went on a hunt to find a local Goodwill shop. We needed to find some sleepers for McKenna and I was curious to see what an east coast Goodwill would have to offer!

We were a bit turned off when we walked into the store because it did have that smell of your grandparent's attic, but after getting over it we went to check out the baby clothes section.This is the first time that I looked for children's clothing at a Goodwill. Lauren and I found it was a bit difficult to navigate as the children's clothing as it was not sorted by size so we really had to check the size on almost everything we looked at. a big thanks to my Dad for pushing the stroller around the store so us girls could shop! We were able to find some cute things in great condition! And the best part was that most of the baby clothes was only $1.99! It is recommended that you launder children's clothing after purchasing.

Lauren and I then combed the racks for anything interesting that we could find for ourselves! We found that most things were priced a bit high- I am spoiled by finding most items to be priced around $4 at Goodwill stores.

My 25th B-Day Party

For my 25th Birthday I went out with my best friends in downtown Chicago! It was a combo birthday party with my friend Brittany who turns 25 on the 31st of March! I got to wear the Kardashian's bebe fringe dress! I absolutely love this dress!

eBay can be a great place to look for slightly used clothing. My 25th birthday is this month and I will be going out with friends in downtown Chicago to celebrate. I wanted to find a trendy dress and was having a hard time finding something in local shops so I turned to the internet. I checked out Etsy and eBay and ended up finding a Kardashians by bebe dress that I loved! I messaged back and forth with the seller and asked for bust, waist, and hip measurements for the dress as I was concerned about the fit! An important tip when purchasing clothing from eBay is to ask the seller for additional pictures and for exact measurements as often you will find that many sellers do not accept returns!

Goodwill Columbia, MO

I went to the  Goodwill located in Columbia, MO. It has a great selection and has several items located in the front window of the store that had the tags still on. It's  well organized and the staff is very friendly. The pricing is a bit confusing, but the staff is very willing to help! And most items are 3 or 4 dollars! You can get spoiled with prices like that!

 Mossimo Black Jeggings

I absolutely love these black jeggings and have been living in them since I purchased them! They can be pretty much paired with anything. They are 95% cotton and 5% spandex so they are super comfortable and with the real fly and pockets these jeggings can really be worn as pants. The material is also thick enough that they do not appear slightly see-through like other cotton leggings! Love these- a must have for any wardrobe!

Forever 21 Floral Sun Dress

 This dress is 92% polyester and 8% spandex which causes it to have a slippery feel, but I purchased it as a beach cover-up for this summer! I love having dresses that I can just throw on over my swimsuits that look cute enough to be worn out to lunch before we hit the pool. This will be a great addition to my summer wardrobe!

I got a black pair of workout shorts that still had the tags on them! They are the Target brand Champion and are a biking length, 88% polyester/ 12% spandex, workout shorts.  They will be perfect for biking or even wearing to yoga! Plus, I love finding brand new items that still have the tags on them at Goodwill!

My Sister's Rehearsal Dinner

My sister is getting married!!! Tonight was her rehearsal and I wore the blue jacket that I purchased from Absolute Vintage! I wore the jacket over a fitted black bandage style dress that I purchased from express for New Years Eve a year ago. The jacket was the perfect color for the event as my sister chose Tiffany's Blue as her wedding color!

New Beginning Consignment Clothing located in Columbia, MO is a great place to shop when you just want to browse the racks. It is well-organized and is sorted by size, however with the large amount of merchandise the store can quickly become overwhelming. They do offer great sales and even offer 10% off when you have a student i.d.. I do not recommend this shop if you are looking for truly vintage items, but they do have an awesome selection of blazers and career wear. Dressing rooms are available.

Gold 100% Silk Tunic

Purchase Price: $7.20 (10% off w/ student i.d.) 

This tunic is 100% silk and that is the main reason that I purchased it. It is a bit over-sized, but will look cute this a pair of skinny jeans. It will be great for next fall and winter and will look very nice paired with a cute scarf, I'm thinking maybe a black scarf and I can wear it to a Mizzou event!
