Maude V

Today, I recently went to Maude V in Columbia, MO to shop. When you walk into the store you are transported into an entirely different world! They have an awesome selection of vintage items and its a very fun place to shop! If you are looking for a leather jacket they had plenty to choose from and the very helpful outgoing staff is happy to help! The visual merchandising is outstanding and helps to display their one of kind costumes that you can also find here. Dressing rooms are available and some new items can be purchased especially when it comes to accessories. Maude V is also a great place to shop for some unique pieces of art and they also have a really fun website with lots of pictures of their merchandise!

My Finds
  60's Style Floral Print Dress
Asking Price: $15.00
Purchase Price: $15.00

The dress appears that it was homemade as it has no tags in it and the seams are not professionally finished. I love the fit of this dress as it comes in at the waist. I also really like the deep V-neck, although it does require you to wear something underneath it as it is a bit too revealing! I don't overly love the fabric of this dress and since there are not tags I cannot tell for sure what the fiber content is, but it is itchy and heavy like a wool. It will be a fun dress to wear this fall with boots and leggings!

Brown Leather Belt
Asking Price: $6.00
Purchas Price: $6.00

I decided to purchase the brown leather belt that the dress was being displayed with because I was not sure if I would have any belts at home that would match the dress. It was in good condition and I know I will be able to use it with other items.

Tip: Don't be afraid to ask the salesperson for help taking something off a mannequin! This is important when shopping resale because almost all of the items are one of a kind so you won't be able to find the item that is being displayed somewhere on the floor!
